Quick and Easy Mother's Day Card Video Tutorial

Although we have been swamped preparing for our National Scrapbooking Day celebration (so excited!), we still found a little time to add a new feature to our blog.  How do you all feel about a quick and easy video tutorial?  OK guys, go easy on me as this is my first video, but I sure hope it's as much fun to watch and learn as it was for me to make it!  Mother's Day is quickly approaching, and while we want our projects to be thoughtful, sometimes we don't have all the hours in the day to put as much time in as we'd like.  I'm going to show you how to make a quick and easy, yet elegant Mother's Day card in less than 15 minutes.  And best of all, there is a ton of paper left over to include maybe a cute tag or even make another card.  All supplies can be found at A Scrap In Time and will be listed below the video. Ladies, National Scrapbooking Day is fast approaching, and we wanted to share the excitement with all of you!  Our NSD crop may be full, but A Scrap In Time will still be offering some amazing steals and deals for those of you will not be cropping with us.  We will be open from 9am -9pm, so be sure to stop in and celebrate National Scrapbooking  Day with ASIT.  We look forward to seeing you there!

 

Jenn's Birdcage Mini

Good afternoon ladies ! Spring is in the air, and what better way to honor it than with this adorable birdcage mini!  Perfect for the season and just brimming with Prima, bling, Maya Road trim, and fun techniques.  We will be learning all about crackle paint, distressing, and how Basic Grey's Bling It On rub on's can really make a photo shine!  This is a must see in person.  So stop on into ASIT to see what we're singing about =)

Don't forget to bring:

ASIT Toolkit
gold, black (STAZ-ON), blue, green, brown inks
ink dobbers or sponges
glue dots
4 photos you'd like to use (not too close up)
Crop-a-Dile if you own one

Please remember that it is essential you bring photos if you would like to finish the project at the class with the teacher available for instruction.  My photos are printed in black and white, which can be done easily at any photo printing station such as Walgreens, Wal-Mart, etc.  Just ask an associate and they will be able to assist you.  B&W is not required, as the project would look just as fabulous with color or sepia photographs.  Sign ups are open and date and time will be posted when available.  I look forward to seeing you all there!
